Kim Moo Young (Choi Jin Hyuk) has risen from the dead and became a zombie for 2 years. In order to survive, he learned to imitate the human attitudes of the people of a village.

After feeling capable enough, Moo Young decides to leave town. Not only handsome, Moo Young becomes a zombie with extraordinary physical strength.

He intends to chase back his dream before he died, which is to become a famous detective. Moo Young then opens a private detective agency.

Unfortunately, Moo Young’s memories before becoming a zombie were completely lost so that he had a hard time living side by side with humans and recovering his memories.

One day, a young woman named Gong Sun Ji (Park Joo Hyun) applies for a job at her office. Previously, Sun Ji worked as a writer in an investigative journalism program.

He decided to quit his job after a witness he was investigating was attacked by an unknown person.
